The program will educate you to work in advanced specialist tasks in the field of ICT. The studies enable you to follow the professional development of the field, both from the applied research and practical viewpoints.
The program is targeted for professionals in working life wishing to become a Master in Information Technology. Studies are designed and implemented in such a way that students in full-time employment can participate.
The Master´s degree gives a student the latest knowledge in a specialised area of Information Technology by giving the following competencies:
- Broad view to information technology presented by leading companies in the ICT field
- Up-to-date knowledge on selected Specialization Option
- Ability to conduct a professional research study
- Valuable network of experts to boost your career
Study contents
The degree of Information Technology consists of Professional Studies (30 ECTS credits) and a Final Year Project (30 ECTS credits). Studies consist of lectures, laboratory work, assignments, and projects as well as independent studying. They are offered in Leppävaara campus.
