Health Business Management is a new Master’s degree program for Bachelors of Business Administration who have work experience from and/or career plans to work in the restructuring social and health care public sector, or in private companies operating in the field.

With a multidisciplinary approach, innovative solutions and new business models are sought for to renew the sector: how to provide services economically and efficiently, yet maintain high quality and a human-oriented scope in all decisions and activities. Business graduates, engineering graduates, as well as graduates from Health Care and Social Services, will jointly tackle the various problem-solving situations and learning tasks. Sharing everyone’s expertise becomes a value added.

The HBM Master’s students will be offered an environment to practice and enhance their international and communication skills in a very multicultural group of peers, staff and faculty. Lectures, seminars, workshops as well as learning materials and outputs are all in English.

Study contents

The Master's Degree Programme in Health Business Management consists of advanced professional studies, alternative advanced professional studies, elective studies and Master’s Thesis.

The core of the advanced professional studies in the HBM comes from the following four courses

• Health Business Economics and Business Models
• Strategy, Management and Leadership
• Service Innovations and Design
• Quality Management

Alternative advanced studies can be picked from a set of choices, related to sustainable leadership, customer relations, or management accounting, all linked to health care business and organizations.
