Study Nursing and become a Bachelor of Health Care
The Degree Programme in Nursing educates professional nurses, who are able to care for, help, support and rehabilitate patients of all ages. Nurses are continuously looking after their patients needs and their work requires them to be independent and responsible. The degree programme educates nurses that are able to work both in Finland and in an international environment.
The programme is suitable for students who are interested in studying in a multicultural group. Language and communication skills are highlighted during the whole education. The students should be able to communicate in Finnish at the end of their studies.
The teaching method used in the Degree Programme in Nursing is Problem Based Learning (PBL). PBL supports the student’s professional growth by providing them with the capacity for independent research and multidisciplinary cooperation, receiving and providing feedback and enhances self-assessment and communication skills.
